Can Trident Z RGB ram sync with any motherboard with led?

Hey yesterday I came to find out my ram could sync with my motherboard.
And one day I did find out and it worked aswell. But idk how exactly it happened.
Can anyone tell me how to make my ram sync with my motherboard?

Specs:
Ryzen 1600
AX370 Gigabyte Gaming K5
GTX 1080
Trident Z RGB 16Gbs
WD 1 TB
650 Watt PSU
Bit Pheonix Aurora

No. Trident Z RGB does not "work" with every motherboard. Yes the ram will light up and cycle through the colors but to control it, ASUS motherboards seem to work the best. Gskill's own software is [censored].
