Hi all, so as the title says, windows 7 is not recognizing my USB drivers. My motherboard is the ASRock A320M-DGS. I can remember reading something about this motgerboard not working to well with Windows 7 (By the time I had read it I already has it) But I did get my USBs to work somehow this time last week, i got everything installed. But had to clean install due to an issue with my Graphics Card (Zotac GeForce GTX 1060). I have tried plugging them into USB 2.0s but that doesnt seem to work, and I only have a PS/2 keyboard. I know I can get it working I just dont know how to. My BIOS version is P1.30 (My mouse and keyboard work while in BIOS) I have not yet installed my motgerboard driver because it doesnt allow me to select the drivers i want to install because I only have the keyboard, and yes, i know how to go up and down with it, I also know about pressing Tab also. If anybody would help me out I would really appreciate it because I want to get it done before the 31st so I can download the windows 10 upgrade of the website, thanks again :)

Solution

well if you can't figure it out the only other thing would be to get an internal optical drive, burn the drivers onto a CD/DVD from another computer, and then use it to install the drivers on you computer

I used the reinstallation disc. My plan was to get my pc on, go to the windows 10 website and do an upgrade, since they're still offering the upgrade tool until the 31st of December

No, all of my usb drives only work in BIOS, but i think its got something to do with ny Advanced settings in my BIOS, all the stuff I could find to do with my usbs where Advanced>AMD CBS>Promontory Common Options>PT USB Configuration Options>PT XHCI GEN1 Enable
PT XHCI GEN2 Disable
PT USB31 PORTO Auto
PT USB31 PORT1 Auto
PT USB Equalization4 Auto
PT USB Redriver Auto

And then the other one is Advanced>AMD CBS>FCH Common Options>USB Configuration Options>XHCI controller enable Auto

I know as I have said, i've read it. But somehow i got them to work last time, with the exact same windows. I want to find out how to just connect my internet adapter and mouse so i can download the upgrade from the windows site and put my activation key in
