Holding down W + A/D Runs auto??

Hi

I have an a problem with my keyboard, whenever im playing a game and im running, i hold down w right? But when i hold down w and press either A or D to move left or right it automaticly walks to one of those sides until i release my fingers of the keyboard? My keyboard is a ADX Firefight A01, and its about 2 years old. But its been working fine until this happend.

This has gotten me killed a lot of times to. Thanks!

Seems like the turn left/right keymaps were changed to side motions. Just to rule out the keyboard, try another one and see what happens. If it does the same thing, see if you have a system restore point to a time before this issue happened. Another thing it may be that the A and D keys are stuck with one of the other ones a bit and pressing them also activates the other keys, QEZC probably.

Yeah my other office keyboard works just fine, but id rather find out why this keyboard isnt working properly and play with it. But this only happens when i hold down W and A or D, if i just walk sideways using only a or d it works??

Edit: I found it that the same thing happens when i hold S to walk backwards, so there is something wierd going on with W and S

Your keyboard may have issues with the multiple key presses at a time and is just using the last one you hit. It's called anti-ghosting but that is really for a larger number of keys, not just two. See if the vendor support has any info.
