So i was gaming on my pc today that ran fine the past couple of days. After a windows update, my pc seems to start lagging on the same game. Nothing that interferes heavily, but I definitely notice a small performance drop. I did use the Pc for about 4 hours that day. Some of my specs are as listed.

Pentium G4560
Gtx 1050
Using Wired internet connection

Since it was the Win update that caused that minor lag, either uninstall that update to get your PC performing as it was prior to the Win update or wait until next Win update comes out in hopes that it fixes the lag issue.
Btw, Win updates are notorious in messing up users PCs.

Well here's what happened (sorry for the delay)

I have not reverted the windows version, but after a pc shutdown and came back in an hour, it was back to its optimal performance. I checked its temps usages at bootup and when I saw a problem it seemed fine. Are you sure this is the right thing to do? I can always try it.

If your PC is running as it's supposed to then there's no point to uninstall the newest Win update. E.g if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Next time, when your Win updates, do a reboot after the successful update to avoid any further lag issues that may have been caused by Win update.

So I toyed around with the pc and did end up reinstalling windows as a whole and upgrading up to the anniversary update and everything seemed to go back to normal. I guess the Fall Creators update is just a bit unstable for this pc (or for everyone, dunno.)
