Trying to surprise my wife but don't know enough about this and need help. I am looking for a windows 7 but if I have to, a windows 10 tablet that has around 7inches of screen height and 8gb memory with 1080p and high speed wifi just for connecting to our home wifi for garden use. Is there anything like that out there?

Finding a Table with Windows 7 is a no go. They never really made any tables with Windows 7. Wasn't until windows 8 that actual windows tables really came out (A laptop with a flip screen doesn't count lol) and to get a 7 inch or even a 10 inch at 1080 will be hard.
I have a 8 inch (and they make 10 inches too) Winbook. It has a quad core atom CPU (Its crap honestly) and a 1280x800 display 2GB Ram and 32GB Storage.
Most 10 inch and under tables are usually the same exact spects for the most part. The table is good for basic stuff and videos.

I think they come with windows 10 now if not its an easy upgrade. Since i pretty techie i was able to reinstall windows from scratch and wipe the recovery partition to to give an extra few gigs but other than that its ok.
Sounds like you may need the low end Microsoft Surface but even that one only has 4GB of ram. most don't have 8GB unless you cough up the $$$ or kidney lol
