Hi guys, would the PCE-AC88 card be able to do higher transfer speeds compared to the PCE-AC68 card, if both were connecting to the Asus RT-68U router? Thanks!

Solution
No, because the RT-68U router is the bottleneck. It can support only 3 spatial streams, so the PCE-AC88's fourth stream would go unused. Since all of these devices support 1024-QAM, the maximum modulation is the same. You'd need a quadstream router to make use of the PCE-AC88's fourth stream.
