Memory speed not as advertised

Hi, I have recently built a new PC with 2x8 GB Corsair Vengeance 3000 MHz.

However in the BIOS it only reads 2133 MHz which I think is the default setting after reading around forums.

Since I use MSI & Ryzen setup, I have this feature called “A-XMP” which I found in the OC setting within the BIOS. Enabling a Profile however doesnt increase the speed at all, which has been the suggestion I found..

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Manually set the memory to the desired speed. What is your motherboard model number, memory model number and CPU model number?

Hi, thank you for your reply.

How do I set them manually? After selecting a profile, there is nowhere to specify the MHz directly.. is it through voltages?

I have MSI B350 Gaming Pro Carbon.
How can I check memory model number and CPU model number?

Currently at work so I can only check later..

First thing to do is make sure you have the latest bios installed. There are several updates for your motherboard, the most recent of which is from Sept. 19th and is version 7B00v16. If you do not have that version installed you need to update as memory compatibility is the primary agesa code change.
