G skill trident z rgb ram xmp issues?

Hello I want to make a pc using this ram but Im wondering if this has xmp issues?

What are other specs?The ram speed (XMP) can be limited by either CPU or motherboard, in some cases both.

My mobo is asus z370 strix e gaming, ram speed 2400mhz( probably need something higher) and my processor is i3 8100

Your cpu is limited at 2400Mhz speed, soo your cpu is limiting that.You can tightnen ram timings to get better results.

It will still run at 2400Mhz your CPU https://ark.intel.com/products/126688/Intel-Core-i3-8100-Processor-6M-Cache-3_60-GHz under memory types says 2400Mhz and thats what it will run. It doesn't matter if you get 4000 mhz it will still run 2400mhz.

Sorry im not that into memory, but if you get k you could activate xmp.

This is not true.
My 4790K says 1600 memory but I run 32gb of 2133.

You can run faster memory with whst you have you will need to enable XMP profile. You might not get 3200 stable but 3000 should be fairly easy.
