Issues Connecting To The Philippines Through VPN

Hey everyone! I am trying to connect to the Philippines via VPN and I constantly get connection errors or fails. I have tried and paid for several VPNs and no go. I am from Chicago. Is there anyone having the same issue?

You should be able to tell if you are passing correctly via the vpn server. A tracert to 8.8.8.8 should show ip hops past the vpn data center. It will look very different than if your tracert to 8.8.8.8 with the vpn not active.

You can't connect to the vpn data center in the Philippines or the remote location rejects you when you connect through the data center. Different problems.

Some sites intentionally block all the ip blocks used by vpn data center. I know netflix even blocks some of the server hosting sites where people run their own private vpn servers.

I was able to connect to there before, it was recently when this started to happen. I asked different services and they were able to connect there with no problem.
