Hello,

I've moved my one partition WD HDD 500gb to my new PC and it became Write Protected.

I've tried the dirkpart and the registry trick, even tried to set security values, but to no avail.

Please help me! How do I remove the write protection?

Solution
Take ownership of E:\Team and E:\Done.
(RightClick on folder/Properties/Security/Advanced/Owner/Change/Advanced/Find Now/Select your username/Ok)

Note. Only users of Administrators group can do that.

I agree, but I don't know how to fix it :(

Well where exactly was this partition?

Go here https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/ and press and hold CTRL and tap the F key on your keyboard. Search for Take Ownership Menu Hacks. Click that and the download will begin. It's for Take Ownership. Once it is installed right click that drive in Windows Explorer and click on Take Ownership. That will probably bring up a command prompt because it shows its work. Let it run its course.

I am unfortunately assuming this drive is already formatted with the NTFS file system for a Windows PC and doesn't have any issues.

I don't know. That's a question for the OP Another Windows computer would be my guess. I have 4 other drives from other Windows computers.
