I'm planing on buying a GigByte HD 5770 but I don't know if my 400w psu be able to run it.
PC specs:
Intel Q8300 2.50
4GB ddr3 Ram
500GB HDD
Motherboard: G41M-P25 MSI

Solution
108W TDP card.... 95W TDP CPU, probably 40W for the balance of your components.

Technically the "recommended" PSU is 450W BUT, provided your PSU is of decent quality (and has the required 6pin PCIe connector), you should be fine.

Completely depends on what PSU you have specifically though....
