What are some good 4 processor motherboards for Xeon E5-2670?

I apologize in advance if the information can be found in this forum as I'm new to this whole thing and am in a bit of a time crunch.

I need a motherboard that can take 4 Intel Xeon E5-2670 processors. Does this exist? If not, what is a viable alternative?

Thank you in advance!

They do not exist. As @Calvin7 said, those CPUs are limited to dual socket motherboards. They don't have the correct hardware for quad socket. To do quad socket with that era hardware, you have to have an E7 or an E5-4xxx CPU.

Asus, Intel, and Supermicro all made dual socket motherboards for that generation of CPU.

It is compatible with your CPUs. It is also going to be a pain to work with. That is a very non-standard form-factor. Not sure what infrastructure is required around it. It is intended to be four of those modules in a 2U chassis.

I like a challenge! I just need them to be running and I need to connect with them via the router. If I can give em power, memory and a hdd then plug in an ethernet cable, what obstacles are you suggesting I will encounter? I know I need a monitor interface somehow, and that eludes me at the moment...

You won't have any storage, even for an OS. You would have to PXE boot. I don't know what, if any fan requirements there are. Documentation for that board is pretty sparse, since Intel intended it to be sold as part of a server.

Why go to the hassle of this motherboard when you you could buy a couple complete DL360G5 or DL380G5 chassis? Is space at such a premium that the 1/2 size boards are worth it?

"Why go the hassle of paying a couple hundred bucks when you could pay a couple thousand?" LOL

PXE booting sounds like fun.... I will have to look deeper into this with the company, I guess, assuming they don't require me paying $100 a minute to talk to them.

Weird, all I saw was very expensive listings when I searched before, but you're right there are very inexpensive used items on ebay. Thanks, this puts me on the right track!

So, it turns out neither DL360G5 nor DL380G5 will take 8-core processors. So I am perhaps back to my science experiment as a solution since servers that take the E5-2670 chips are thousands of dollars.
