gta 5 more laggy after new cpu

and i was getting around 50 fps on evrything on low settings and i recently bought i5 7600k and new cpu fan, motherboard and 16gb ram (everything i had before is the same) and i updated all drivers for gpu, cpu and motherboard and when i run gta 5 its so bad so many lag spikes not even playable. what could be the problem and how was it performing better before i upgraded

I would advise doing a clean install of windows etc, changing all the hardware can cause some weird issues when using the same windows install.

you have to reinstall windows onto the new motherboard and cpu. you cant just reuse windows from your old pc.
