should i buy Intel i3 8100 or ryzen 3 1200 ?

Hello everyone.
so my question is should i go for i3 8100 ( newly 4 cores ) or ryzen 3 1200?
or should stay and wait for the next year ?
one more thing my budget is low..... at max , i can buy i3 or ryzen3
my current specs .
cpu- AMD fx 6300....
ram- 8gb..
gpu- sapphire r7 250 2gd5...
mobo- gigabyte 78lmt-usb3...

i3-8100 is much stronger than Ryzen 3 1200, and it would cost more due to Z370 being the only mobo available atm that support Coffee Lake.

i3-8100 is roughly the same as i5-7400 and that CPU compete with Ryzen 3 1500X if not the Ryzen 5 1600 gaming wise.
