Hi all,
I'm finally looking to upgrade my GPU in my rig, the only problem is I have never actually done so. I was hoping to get some help just to make sure it will fit and work properly, before shelling out the money and having to go through a whole ordeal of returning or upgrading multiple parts on finding out that it doesn't fit.
Currently these are the specs that I have in my computer:
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Home
System Manufacturer: MSI
System Model: MS-7673
System Type: x64-based PC
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s)
Graphics Card: XFX AMD Radeon R9 270x
Computer Case: CM Storm Scout
Power Supply: Rosewill Bronze 1000W
From everything I have gathered thus far, it does appear that my computer is compatible to run this with the PCI-E slot, and the power seems to be enough. Where I don't know exactly what I'm doing, is trying to figure out if the GPU will fit. My case specifications state that the case can fit the card length, but the height on the motherboard is my main concern. Is there anyway to tell just from computer specs if this will fit?
