Mouse led is on, but must be reconnected to usb to work.

So every time I boot my pc, the mouse led is on, meaning it has power, but I move the mouse and it doesn’t respond on the screen. After taking it out and plugging it back in the same slot (and different slots) it’s fine. What’s going on?

Tested it on my MacBook air and upon bootup from a completely shutdown state, on the logon screen, the mouse only went up and down, even when I moved the mouse in a circle. After logging in, it was functional. I'll try my old dell mouse in a few minutes, but dang, gonna miss this mouse. Looks like a bad mouse.

Lol, probably not gonna happen though.

Just did a full bootup and the dell one was fine. I'll get back to this forum if something goes wrong again, but I just think I have a blue led ornament on my desk.
