Since yesterday im having a really weird issue. My GTX760 suddenly jumped at constantly 85-100% load while playing World of Warcraft - without changing any setting. On the previous day it was running at around 40-60% load max, today at 100...

Today i cleaned my PC, reinstalled the whole Windows 10, installed a new driver and reinstalled the game - no change.

Is this a sign of dying GPU or something is messed up?

To me it looks like the GPU is self throttling at 52-53C for unknown reason. A week ago it was reaching around 70C while at close to 100% load.

Edit: Tried playing Overwatch - no issues there. Game runs fine and load is reaching max 75%

Not really, it just seems to be performing a 6% slower with the newer driver. There are a lot of factors what it could be. If you are extremely concerned about performance you could go into Windows Resource Monitor and figure out if there are any programs taxing any of your computer power or malware even; or fresh install again. Some people lose FPS even after a Windows update (especially the Fall update!). Your problem is probably software related, if the GPU was failing you'd see more dramatic things like visual artifacts.

If I absolutely had to figure out why the GPU wasn't giving me as good a score as it could be, I would actually test its performance on a Windows 7 SP1 clean installation with a few benchmarks, then repeat on...

Hi. I'v got a similar problem. It started about 2 weeks ago, when playing Warthunder. At first I couldn't play it, but I could play Dragon Age Inquisition. I'v tried 10 different drivers, and got it working with 359.00 .. for a day. Then the problem was back and DA also stopped working (crashes on start). I installed Core temp and GPU-Z. I noticed the load increase on the processor at one time and thought that it may be the fan on it (I had one start to fail about a year ago). I got a new one and that seamed to help .. for 2 days. I'v tried reinstalling different drivers, and even regedit and nothing helped. I can run movies and play music or watch the net, but games crash.

I would try some more other games and see how the performance is. Some games use the GPU less. Maybe they updated the game to be more efficient. I wouldn't dive too far into GPU fixing until you know it's not the game.

The only thing that stands out is that the Core clock is higher than the boost clock. Have you OC the card at all? Also it's the Jetstream version right? You can click Look up in GPUz and it will tell you your EXACT card.

Its the Jetstream yes, i never overclocked it.

Also thats indeed interesting, i dont know why the boost clock is higher

Also as far as i know there was no updates to the game, unless they silently hotfixed something. So far i tried Overwatch, Diablo 3 and Heroes of the storm.

Tried playing Fortnite and Starcraft 2, both run normal except a few FPS dips in Fortnite and load reaching 100% a few times too.

You could also perhaps try overclocking, or upgrading the card all together.
