So the headset I bought has a jack that has the mic and the audio combined into the one jack. It says that i need a port that supports the 2 in 1. Is there anyway to tell if my ports on my mobo are compatible. My mobo is B350M GAMING PRO, and the headset is a Razer Meka.

If your headset has single jack, there are three rings and tip: ground, left speaker, right speaker, microphone. These are made primary for mobile (phone, laptop) use.

If you plug this into a desktop jack which does not support it, the microphone is not going to work, and you would need a special splitter cable between the headset jack, and desktop speakers / microphone jacks.

Could I be misreading the specs page on the headsets page it says "Audio + microphone usage

Devices with 3.5 mm audio + mic combined jack" does this mean its split into 1 mic jack and 1 audio jack or what?
