Hello!
I'm wanting to build a gaming + school/work (info sec) pc. I'm thinking about putting a 1080 ti + Ryzen 7 1700x in it but I'm not sure what the best setup is. My budget is around $2500 CAD (including a monitor and keyboard which I need). I started a build on ca.pcpartpicker.com.

Ideally I would like:
- 2 HDD's
- 1 SSD
- 16gb ram or 32gb
- Some RGB
- Not going to be using 4k would rather have a monitor with 144hz if anyone has a suggestion of a
good one that isn't super expensive

I'm new to building PC's since I've always used laptops and I wouldn't mind some help lol.
Thanks!

EDIT: there is a bundle on amazon but pcpartpicker wasn't recognizing it so i set the cpu to $0 and the motherboard to the bundle price

13% sales tax. Also the 1700x is bundled right now with the motherboard so i set the motherboard price to the bundle prince (on amazon) and the 1700x to 0. forgot to mention in that in my origional post i will edit it

So 2200 is your budget before tax. I will get this:

I don't need an OS so maybe I can beef up some of the other components (or add some lighting lol). Also willing to go a bit over budget if I can get a solid system that will last for a while.

That one looks pretty nice, just one question would the 1080 be able to play at 1440p 144hz smoothly on new games (like battlefield 4)?
