Getting half the read/write speeds I'm supposed to w/ 960 Pro

Recently upgraded to a 960 pro. Worried my laptop is incompatible, Latitude E7470. But CrystalDiskInfo gives me hope. Under transfer mode it shows this http://

Do I stand a chance? Can I switch over to supported mode somehow?

You are getting 1/2 the "supposed to" speed because the interface in your laptop is 1/2 the maximum number of PCIe lanes that the 960 supports. Notice that your screen shot shows an x2 interface. That will give you 1/2 the maximum advertised speed.
