Should I change my CPU?

As the title suggests I wonder if it's worth switching out my CPU? Currently sitting on a 7600k but I am tempted to get a 7700k as I can get one for a discount atm. My reason for switching is that I experience some performance issues when using dual monitors and playing games like PUBG and Destiny 2, for example having a stream and a game running at the same time, stutters the stream out and drops my game performance a bit. Also would like to make some casual streams now and again, so I wonder if I can justify an upgrade with these reasons?

I would say, if you need any justification, it would be good one. And getting 7700K at discount is even better

If you are streaming and not wanting to change the base platform, going to a 7700k is worth it. The extra threads will alleviate the performance drop in the stream, there still might be some on the end of the viewer but not too bad.

You'll start to see the same effects (in the near future) even on an i7 7700k. Newer/more demanding triple A titles will be released (that are optimized for more than four cores) rendering the i7 7700k as an entry level chip. It's best to purchase a second dedicated system (with more than four cores) for gaming and use your existing computer for streaming.

To be more clear, I am not looking to buy an entirely new system because I don't have the money at the moment. Will mostly be gaming and stream once in a while but not regularly enough to, again, dedicate an entire system to it. But thanks for your input anyways.
