Hello guys!

I am very undecided about which VGA to buy since these new 1070 TI, specially this ZOTAC AMP! Extreme model, are doing so well with these OC and stuff.

I know this particular 1080 EVGA model can't be OC very well (because it's made SC by default duh!) but I want something to last for quite sometime.

The difference is not so high (like 70$) and I would love your opinion.

Thanks in advance!

Well you already have a pretty good PC, it blows the doors off my 2500k rig for sure.

If you are going up to 4k then go for the EVGA SUPERCLOCKED ACX 3.0 GTX 1080 will give you plenty of growing room. That extra 10% performance is worth the extra cost. The 1080 will be relevant for at least 5 years from now. 1080 and 1080 Ti are the 4k god cards ATM. I personally am an EVGA fan and I also really dislike Windforce graphics cards because in some of them they LOCKED the core voltage. I've also found their factory overclocks to be unstable; two Windforce cards that had issues with black screens I solved by lowering the clock and memory by 100-200. You can call it bias a suppose.

Sorry about the late reply I dunno why I wasn't getting the e-mail alerts...

Just to share a little bit of information about my choices, here are the exact models avaliable in my country:

GTX 1070 Ti:
ZOTAC AMP! EXTREME
ASUS ROG STRIX (REGULAR)

GTX 1080 (+70 US$):
EVGA SUPERCLOCKED ACX 3.0
GIGABYTE WINDFORCE 3F OC

MY PC SPEC:
Inter Core i7 7700 KabyLake 1151 (NOT the K version, stock Cooler)
MB Asus Prime B250M-PLUS DDR4 1151
16 GB DDR4 RAM 2400MHz (8GB Patriot Viper 4 Series + 8GB HyperX 2400 Series)
1TB HD 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda (Soon to get a NVMe Corsair)
PSU Thermaltake Smart Series 600W SPD-0600P
24" 1080p 144hz 1ms AOC Hero LCD Screen

I forgot to mention that I am currently aiming for a steady 144 fps on ultra settings (Destiny 2 and other games) but I want a good PC so I can move to QHD or UHD someday.

Thank you!
