My HP Pavilion p7-1045 https://support.hp.com/lv-en/product/hp-pavilion-p7-1000-desktop-pc-series/5080737/model/5135090/document/c02872231 gpu is a 512 mb amd radeon HD 6450. It has a 250 watt PSU. My question is : I planed to remplace it with a gt 1030, but the reviews says it is a bad gpu and a 1050 would have twice the fps. Still, i dont even know if it will be suported by my psu What should i go for then ?

I believe your PC uses a standard ATX power supply so you should be able to swap it out. ATX power supplies are 50 mm width, 86 mm height, and typically 140 mm depth. Some prebuilt PCs especially low wattage ones will use a smaller power supply that only fits in that case.

In the event that the case does use a proprietary power supply, I would opt for the 1030GTX. It uses very little electricity, and in exchange for that much less performance.
