Looking for a budget-friendly cooler for a 3930k

I was recently offered a 3930k and motherboard at a ridiculously cheap price, so I couldn't turn it down. Nevertheless, I still need an adequate cooler for it. I have a CM Hyper 212 EVO lying around but to my understanding the 3930k's 130 watts needs something a lot more beefier. I will overclock, but nothing crazy (sub 4 Ghz). I'm currently looking at the CM MasterLiquid Lite 120. It's right in my budget (< $50) and I've had previous luck with other CM products.

What do you guys think, are there any other coolers that would fit the bill? (Air or liquid cooling is welcome)

I would install it and check the temps idle and load. It should work with an OC. I have a dark rock cooler as well and I am very happy with it. They are a bit tricky to install though but they cool well and they are quiet (they better be!)

You are right to think that the CM Hyper 212 EVO would be cutting it close for a 130 watt+ overclock. You may get max temps in the 70s and 80s but it could be doable.

I would either get a higher quality hair cooler like a Noctua for example or get a 240mm all in one cooler. I've found the 120mm cooler like the one you are interested in have sub par performance when the CPU is pushed. Coolermaster has a 240mm version of that which would work a lot better if you can fit it in your case and want to spend a bit more to get nice low temps and the OC as well.

Thanks for the input! I did some more digging and I came across the be quiet! BK010. It has a tdp of 160W, surely this'll suffice, right?
