i7 2600 non k temps

hey all

are my temps on my i7 2600 non k ok?

is summer where i live with 27° in the day

idle temps:

35 firt core
33 second core
34 third core
31 fourth core


load temps:

45 first core
39 second core
41third core
40 fourth core

im using an evo 212 cooler master with artic silver

with the case open

should i worry?


never have anything beyond 45 or hitting 60

Gaming temps will be lower than what we'd call load temps which is going to be something heavy like a stress test. Your other thread mentions you have z77, you could oc your 2600 non k up to max 42 multi and still be well under safe temps. That would still be hardly 50-60c in games.

Non k on 1155 is different because it has a limited oc capability. You can go 4 bins above turbo so you can set multi to 42, so 4.2ghz. Other than the multi being limited to that max, ocing is the same. You just can't oc as high because you're limited. On newer platforms, they can't go above turbo at all, so those can't oc at all.
