In a Ryzen 1700 (OC 3.7ghz), GTX 1080 and 2x8 3200mhz Ram build,

Would the Wraith Spire Cooler be able to handle it? Or is it recommended to get an aftermarket cooler?

Solution
Amd really upped their game on cpu cooling over past models. The Wraith coolers are actually very good coolers for the price (hah!) and better than a good portion of the aftermarket budget lines. Ppl tend to max out cpu voltages/OC before needing to upgrade the cooler.
That said if you do find yourself needing a better cooler don't go for a budget line.

For the price that wraiths are bringing on ebay currently, you'd be better off with a Cryorig H7 Lumi. What ppl are doing is gouging the market. They buy an aftermarket cooler, then sell their free Wraith to cover the cost. @$50 after shipping is rediculous for a stock, free cooler.

I think the h7 is ugly, and the cm 212.

AMD really knocked it out of the park with their design.

CM has a pretty RGB aio water cooler for about $60 though, so if I can't find a cheap wraith I will likely go that route.
