I couldn't see any mention of M.2 or SATA ports being disabled for whatever reason, in the manual. Any ideas?
Mobo: ASUS Strix Z370-I w/ latest BIOS
CPU: i7-8700k
Storage: 2x Crucial MX300 2TB SATA 2.5 (RAID1 - for file storage)
I can't get any combination of the following to work in the two M.2 slots. Was hoping to have one run Windows 10, and one for a gaming/recording/scratch drive.
1x Crucial MX300 2280SS 1050GB M.2 SATA
1x SAMSUNG 960 PRO M.2 1TB NVMe
1x SAMSUNG 960 PRO M.2 512GB NVMe
I've only managed to have the 512gb detected in the second M.2 slot, when the first M.2 was empty. The two 1TB are only detected in the first M.2 slot; which may just have been due to BIOS settings. Accidentally installed win10 on the 512gb with the incorrect BIOS settings (RAID1 2.5" SSDs not set up beforehand), so I just set those up and then reinstalled win10 on the 1TB crucial M.2 ssd instead.
