Cant see my HDD

Some times when I start my pc I see my D drive but when I click on it ther getting a error (hardware fault) IDK why and do some one know what the problem can be

If there's power firmly to the disk, and a new data cable, the disk drive is most likely dead, if you know the brand you can download diagnostic software from the manufacturers website.

Dead hard disks are very very common.

I have a pc with i5-6600k ram 16 1060 6g asrock H170 performance I dont what for HDD its a bit old hdd I think
