ddr3 4gb (2x2gb) 667mhz ram upgrade

Solution
That board series is extremely versatile and tolerant of almost any memory, regardless of rated speed. Yes you need a minimum of DDR3 1333, but feel free to purchase DDR3 1600 sticks as well if you plan on retiring the old 2 gig sticks.

I'd personally just get a lower price DDR 3 1600 2x4 or 2x8 kit and remove the old RAM.
