Hello everyone!
I am writing because I am in a dilema and I could use some help. I have a 270x, the 2gb model and I want some more gaming performance. I am wondering if crossfire would be equal or at least marginaly less efficient than a gtx1060 6gb. I underrstand Vram is kinda insufficient, but when I load it excessively {for example 3.2GB loaded on vram in ASC Syndicate} the card pulls off a staggering 30+ fps. I would expect constant frame drops and low framerate, but even if I pass the limits, there are no effects on perforamance whatsoever!
1) How do you justify this?
2) Is crossfire worth it?
-Note that the budget is tight-
SPECS:i7 4790k
Asus maximus VII ranger (2 X8 PCI3.0 SLOTS)
16gb ram 2400Mhz
wd 1tb
750w psu
SAPPHIRE R9 270X TOXIC 2GB

Every answer is much apreciated!
