Could someone please check out these PC parts please and see if they are compatible with each other. Already have the peripherals and whatever sorted out. Thanks :)

Micro ATX Case: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00BTQE4ZQ/ref=ox_sc_a...

Solution
All check out OK...
• Socket FM2+ mobo and APU
• MATX form factor mobo and case
• DDR3 RAM and compatible with the mobo.
• Hyper 212 LED cooler compatible with FM2+ socket.

• The A10-7860K is a Socket FM2+ APU and a valid reason is a strict budget.. that not being an issue you are correct on the FM2+ socket.

• The AMD Ryzen R5-2500U is a mobile APU

• A better option and comparably priced to the A10-7860K APU would be the AMD Ryzen 3 1200 CPU

Didn't know that about the R5.

But yeah I think I would go for the R3-1200 since it can be had for $100 mark (£94.79) and it would be a far better CPU than A series. Plus you can pair that with a B350 motherboard which can be had for around the $60 mark (£55).

That sounds good to me.. problem is he'll need a dedicated graphics card because it seems that AM4 motherboards don't include onboard graphics... we'll have to see what OP thinks.. maybe he has a spare PCIe graphics card he can use or maybe he can buy a cheap one. Seems to me that would be e better savings option between a low priced APU or GPU, he'll want to upgrade later to have a propper gaming rig.

Some alternate options to consider (All AM4 CPUs and APUs).
