How and When to OC my Rams

Hello guys im pretty new to computer stuff and was wondering how and when to OC my rams

i7 7700k
Gtx 1070 8gb OC
2x8gb (16gb) corsair vengance 3000mhz
asus z270-a prime
550w psu

My pc i mainly used for gaming , Destiny 2 , PUBG , Rust , Arma 3 and was wondering when and how i should OC my rams and what benefit i gain from doing that.

Ram should be the last thing to think about OCing.
First worry about the GPU and it's Vram, then the CPU.
Ram OCing generally doesn't help very much, especially since you already have ddr4 3000mhz, it's only needed to push out those last few fps or a few more points in benchmarks.
Just make sure you are using the XMP profile.

3000mhz ram does not need to be overclocked

go to the bios and load XMP profile, thats it
