I got all my pc parts today and when I tried putting in my Team Elite 2133 8gb Ddr4 ram into my Z270 Killer sli/ac motherboard, it will not fit. I try pressing down hard, but it will not fit. I don't want to push down too hard to where the point my mobo breaks. I tried applying pressure on one side and that worked (for the one side) but the other side will not. I have the latch open, mine only needs one open since the other one is always open. Is my ram not compatible? Will I need to get new ram?

Solution
The RAM should be compatible with your motherboard, but did you make sure that the notch in the motherboarded matches the one in the RAM stick? Usually you will have to press hard, but not too hard for it to click in place. If not then check that the notch in the RAM is lined up with the notch in the motherboard. if it's off-center, then it's not compatable. I hope this helped, but if it didn't, you might need to contact your motherboard/ram manufacturer, or try and use another set of DDR4 RAM to se if that fits at all (or maybe I don't know the situation properly).
