Hello, i was doing my regular pc cleaning, i removed the gpu and cleaned the fan, then i vacumed proc fan and powersuply fan. Put the gpu back in, connected all the cables and then power on my pc. Problem occured that system seems to be running but im getting no signal msg on monitor. There isnt any beep on startup either. Any help appriciated.

Solution

Take you GPU back out, boot your PC but go into the BIOS, set your video display option to discrete GPU or external or PCIE or anything along those lines if you've taken the CMOS battery out of your mobo then your BIOS settings will have reset and this should fix your issue. After that put your GPU back in and it should boot normally :)

Intel i5 4460
Nvidia gtx950
Mobo is asusH81M-C
Kingston 8gb
Dont know about powersuply.

And yes ive vacuum with the fans on, but ive been doing that for years i just close up the components for 5 secs and thats it(i mean everything is plugged off)

Yeah but still, fans do provide voltage when they are manually spinning (because they have magnets and coils),Try to remove battery (clear cmos) and unplug the PSU from wall with PSU on and keep power button for 30 sec or longer, after that take battery in and switch PSU off before connecting power cable to the PSU and start PC. (is it single stick 8GB or, check if ram is in place, wiggle it a bit while pushing)

I know what you are thinking but that is a myth. Using vaccums or leaf blowers etc will not create nearly enough voltage to damage anything in the system. Its been tested.

I highly doubt you've damaged anything unless you were extremely careless and have been unlucky enought to kill a component through ESD but the likely scenario is there is a cable you havent plugged in. Double check your cables, if all seem to be connected, unplug them and put them back in (that goes for the whole PC). Good luck.

Triple checked the cables, all are connected. Monitor is brand new(from 2 days ago), is connected thru hdmi, cable is stable connected, tho im sure its not about monitor.
Green lamp on mobo is on, keyboard and mouse lights are all on, everything is spinning
When i press restart button near power on button it doesnt do anything, usually you hear the system restarting but nothing.

This may be as far as we can help you over the internet then, if you are 100% happy all cables are correctly placed and have no faults then I would be starting to think about possible ESD damage, if you are running multiple Ram sticks then take one out and restart your PC, if it fails then try the next one etc. Plug your video cable into the motherboard instead and try running the PC. Thats what I would try first, but before you open up you PC and start fumbling around you should touch an unpainted part of your case with a full hand so you can minimise potential ESD sparks. Also try to mess about with components on a non carpet floor.

Yes, the original problem is still there, with gpu in pc wont start win, and i get no signal msg(switched from vga to hdmi in this case).
Ive also noticed that the thing on gpu socket that clicks the card (like in ram socket) is kinda broken(wont actually click) but that shouldnt be problem because all it matters is contacts from gpu are in socket?

@shanetemple14
Yes it seems that this solved the problem, windows normaly booted(even tho slower then before but ive only tested it once).
Do you know why that worked, what seemd to be problem so i can maybe avoid it later? (some1 said that it was proven that vacuuming can dmg your hardware is a myth so its not that?).
Thank you all for your help and solutions.

Edit: tryed some restaring/starting up, it takes significant amount of time to boot, 30-40 secs.
And when i restart, i get the no signal msg, followed by hdmi signal msg then it proceeds to boot.

When you opened up your PC your BIOS must have reset, I'm not sure how whether it be on your part or not but as soon as the IGPU worked I knew the GPU would work because although using a vacuum or leaf blower or anything along those lines does create voltage, it is such as small amount that it couldn't power anything or damage anything. The idea that using those types of tools to clean your PC causes damage is a pure myth and is often thrown about when it is actually in-correct. Glad I could help with your problem :)
