I have a HP Elite Compaq Desktop with a built in Intel HD Graphics VGA port and Windows 10. I have added a NVidia GEForce 7300 card with DVI and VGA. Two monitors work from the GEforce card. I added a monitor to the Intel HD graphics port and installed the driver. But when I connect the monitor to it, I hear the noise of a device added and the mouse moves but it does not click. I disconnect the vga cable from that monitor and everything works as before.

I disconnected the vga monitor from the GE force card and connecting the built in card monitor still has the same effect.

It recognizes the Intel card in the BIOS and Device Manager.

How can I get the Intel HD graphics card to work with the GE Force 7300 card?

I believe this is accurate. I also think there is some bios setting that you can change the default graphics(intergrated vs PCIE card). Im not sure if it has an option for both. You could also try removing the 7300 and trying just the intergrated to limit down possible problems
