Hi all,

I recently built a system with the following specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
Wraith Spire cooler (default)
Asrock AB350 Pro4
2x4gb Corsair RAM
Kingston 240gb SSDNOW
Western Digital Blue 1TB
Gigabyte 1050ti
Antec 520W HCG (modular)

I have been receiving the following issues for many weeks now and have RMA'd several parts including the RAM, the motherboard and the graphics card:

-Very frequent occurances of: "...[the application] has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware", especially when running Graphics benchmarks

-Very frequent game crashings such as in CIV5 "FGX Renderer II :: Present failed hr=DXG1 ERROR DEVICE REMOVED Driver Failure"

-Very frequent BSOD with "Video Scheduler internal error" (when using the GTX 1050ti which I RMA'd but the store ran their own extensive tests and it was working fine. Also worked fine in my friend's computer)

-Occasional BSOD with "thread stuck in device driver" (when using my friend's R9 280 graphics card which is known to be working 100% fine)

I have also updated the mobo to the latest BIOS (if it matters: from the default P.3.00 to P.3.30) but problem still persists. I have also done the cmd commands (using admin) of "sfc /scannow", "dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth" and "dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth", all to no avail.

I have reinstalled graphics drivers on both cards several times, still getting issues.

I have also done clean installs of Windows 10 3 times (every time on SSD though, haven't tried installing Windows on the HDD...maybe the issue?)

From my deductions, it should either be a PSU failure or SSD failure? Any tips as to how to solve this issue?

Solution
Well, you must have brought me luck, I figured out the issue 10 seconds after my initial answer.

I unplugged the HDMI cable from my amplifier (primary monitor on DVI), solved everything. It seems I'm having issues by having two monitors (one through amp) plugged to my video card.

Hope it helps someone down the road.

I have the exact same problem and my computer is nothing new (2500k/GTX970). It started early this week with games I'm used to play regularly, old like new (Shogun Total War / POE).

It has nothing to do with your PSU or your computer malfunctioning.

I have tried everything so far (uninstall/reinstall different Nvidia drivers, check Windows, turn antivirus off, you name it). Everything else works perfectly. I'll post back once I figure it out.
