which cpu cooler to pick

Hi, i want to buy new pc for christmas but i dont know which cpu cooler to pick, cpu is intel i5 7400 and i am of course not doing overclock. The cooler must be lower than 161mm

msi core frozr L is the one that gets overlooked. I just got one as an upgrade from my hyper 212x and it performs great. Excellent in terms of price/performance. Other coolers will do better obviously but they cost a lot more. This also is a smaller cooler compared to the more high end air coolers.

I guess that depends on where you live. Over here in Taiwan it's around 43 US, only 13 dollars more than the hyper 212x but significantly better. Honestly even at 50 dollars it's still worth it. On my 6600k at 4.5ghz using 1.37v I max out at 76c on occt. My hyper 212 was 87c.
