I'm new to computers and I have no idea what I'm doing, but I have a pre-built pc which I cannot find the link for anymore but here is the specs in my settings.
AMD FX-6300 Six Core Processor 3.50 GHz 16 GB RAM Nvidia GT 730 Graphics card.
Not really sure what my GPU is or how to find it so any help would be appreciated. I know my graphics card isn't integrated because I checked inside and it looked like it can be removed. I'm hoping to get a Nvidia GTX 1000+ something, I just wanna see which is best for me so I can get more fps in this game I play frequently.

the 960 would not run on your 350w power supply

the 1050 ti is faster anyways, so it would be pointless to buy a new power supply for the 960

You are limited because of your FX-6300. You can Upgrade to a GTX 960 or a R9 280X GPU. The R9 280X will be better fps, however either card would be a massive improvement. There will be some bottle necking but you may be able to overclock depending on your motherboard, but I wouldn't worry about that. If you want a GTX 1000+ your going to need a new computer. You also need to MAKE SURE YOUR GPU will FIT in the case and do you have enough power. Minimum 400 Watts psu. Watch some videos Tutorials and understand the components in your computer. maybe you want to build your own or get a new one.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIABRD55F4105&cm_re=GTX_960-_-9SIABRD55F4105-_-Product Would this work for me? How do I make sure it'll fit? And what's psu? Sorry I'm asking so many questions, I'm pretty clueless in this area.
also: I found my computer and it's this one https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuypower-desktop-amd-fx-6300-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gt-730-2tb-hard-drive-black-red/5600302.p?skuId=5600302

Look inside your case, there should be a label on the power supply and it will have a number on it similar to "300W". This will have a big impact on the card you can choose. You know that cable you plug into the wall socket? That cable connects directly to the power supply inside your computer. So, with the computer off and unplugged, look at that square metal box inside your computer, that's the power supply.

Do not pay that much for a 960. The low end of gaming cards in the GTX 10xx series is the 1050. It's alright for less demanding games at 1080p, or more demanding games at 900p or 720p. Better would be an 1050 Ti, it can handle more games at 1080p. For PUBG this is the least card you should get. A 1060 of some type would be the most you should get. It would be great for 1080p gaming in everything your CPU can handle.

A GTX 960 is around a 1050 Ti in performance, which is why if the 960 costs you anywhere near what a 1050 Ti would cost you then you might as well get the 1050 Ti.

that model PC has a 350w power supply

you need to get this 1050 ti, its faster and will run without buying anything else:

do I have a pcie slot? and what even is that? Someone else is telling me I should get the 960, but the 1050ti looks similar to my current gpu. Should I go with the 1050ti? and what's a 6-pin?

the 1050 ti is superior to the 960

yes your motherboard has a pcie slot, as you have currently a pcie card (gt 730) installed into it

the 6-pin is a power cable that a lot of newer gpu's need to work
