Redlight by MEMOK Intel H87

I've tried each stick of RAM in each slot, all connections are secured, heat sink is hard in place, and no pins are bent on CPU socket. When I press the MEMOK comouter restarts and the light flashes for awhile but still no POST. Anyone have any ideas to what it could be? I was cleaning the computer but I never even messed with the RAM, so the computer used to run like normal before now.

How did you clean it? Make sure all cables are fully inserted.

I cleaned it with cotton swaps, isopropyl alcohol, paper towels, and a rag

That's how you cleaned the motherboard? Was it so filthy that it couldn't be cleaned with a bottle of compressed air or a vacuum cleaner? Visually inspect the motherboard to see if a component has been damaged or a cable connector has a wire partially pulled out.

Yes it was very dirty, and all cables are plugged in and secured, all parts are fully mounted.

Did you remove the CPU and possibly bend pins? You definitely damaged something; finding what it is will be a challenge.

I looked all over the socket and couldn't find any bent/damaged pins. There is a computer repair shop I am planning on taking it to so I can figure it out.

Ok I just got the computer back, we think plugging a case fan into the debug port on the motherboard may have shorted it. The computer is still broken... I have a new motherboard coming in tomorrow so hopefully that will fix it. Any advice?

That makes sense, but the connector normally shouldn't easily fit if it can cause damage.
