I just got an Intel 480gb 535 SSD. I've got a z77 sabertooth motherboard, 650watt power supply, gtx 1060 and windows 10 64bit with 8gb of ram. When running the intel migration software, I'm trying to migrate everything including windows from the 500gb samsung HDD to the intel 480gb SSD but it starts to do it then all of a sudden the PC just shuts down and restarts and the migration hasn't completed. The PC is running perfectly fine so I don't think it's the hardware. The SSD was working perfectly fine in my friends computer the other day so I think that is fine as well.

Are there any suggestions on what I can do?

I have tried many solutions but I like to use EaseUS Partition Master Free.

Basically when you use it you are building a stack of Linux commands.
When you click apply, it reboots into Linux, executes the commands and back into Windows.

The first thing you need to do is resize the 500GB Samsung partition to be smaller than the 480GB Intel partition.
Then migrate the OS to the Intel.
