I have a i5 7500 that I recently put in my build, but for whatever reason it seems to be at around 45-50 when "idle" or when using netflix etc. then when I go in games it goes around 50-55 all my other components seem fine, but my CPU is sky high... How do I fix it..

That's controlled by the motherboard header you plug it into.
CPU_FAN.

The system reads a higher speed, and speeds the fan up.

To be sure though...your current system has zero temperature issues that I can see.

No it is not.
Your idle temp of 45-50 is aa little bit high, but your 55C under gaming load is NOT high.

You wouldn't see any gaming issues until you were north of 90C.

What CPU cooler do you have on this?

75C under load, then maybe start to look to some other cooling option. Intel chips will give full performance up to and a little above about 90C.

55C is absolutely nothing to worry about.
