PC Getting Hot While Mining With 2 GPU Need Suggestions

Well I was mining with my Asus Strix GTX 1060@6GB Zcoins(ZEC) and the temp were good pretty good the GPU temp @ 40% of fan speed while other system fans at lowest speed is not exceeding 50'c
but that GPU was not enoufgh for mining so i bought another MSI GTX 1070ti TITANIUM
and now the 1070ti is my primary card inserted 1st on my motherboard and then there is My Creative sound card and then the Asus GTX 1060

Now While mining the MSI GPU is getting hot its reaching 80-82'c just because of this i have to turn on the front fans and top fans speed to 100% and then i am getting 75'C on MSI with 100% fans running of GPU
56'C in Asus with 40% GPU Fan speed

I have CM 690III with
2 Fans Front Intake MASTERFAN PRO 120 RGB (1200 RPM)
2 Top Exhaust SickleFlow 120 (2000RPM)
1 bottom Intake SickleFlow 120 (2000RPM)
1 Back Exhaust SickleFlow 120 (2000RPM)

So should i change the GPU? 1st Asus Then MSI? or the MSI are tends to Run Hotter?

The 1070ti just creates way more waste heat than the 1060. Therefore it is no surprise that it is running hotter.

If you want it to run cooler you have two options. The first one is to improve cooling by adding some more fans directly cooling the card. Or installing a water block on the gpu.
But i would rather try to make it run more efficient. You can easily do this by adjusting the power target on afterburner. The sweet spot of, your card is likely to be around 60% of the power target. The hashrate will take a hit, but the card will run much cooler and will use much less energy.

Greetings!

Serinox is correct in all they say, but I would like to also add that it appears that your sound card may be choking the airflow to the 1070Ti...you may not have the ability to move it, but it is likely one of the culprits to your problem.

Hope this helps!

Yes you were right i removed the sound card temporarity that helps the temp drop down to 55;C which is less then 15'C at 80% power target
i can install the sound card at the top most slot which is above the GPU but ten there comes the CPU cooler which is blocking that slot ill see if i can change the CPU cooler position to Horizontal position

Or what i can do is the Asus card is running soo much cooler i can swap the cards from top to bottom then there is 2000RPM fans which is directly blowing the air to this MSI heat hogger GPU

The bottom card is running cooler because it doesn't have a brick wall blocking its fan intakes. If you switch the GPUs, the problem will switch to the other card. It's good that you've reduced the power limit, should have been doing that from the get go if you're mining lol. If you plan to stay in that case forever, I'd start with moving that sound card. Once that's moved, you can mount a fan so that it's as close as possible to that crevice between the cards, moving air through it.

yea what i did is i have changed the position of cpu coooler now its mounted horizontally
i have switched the cards too the 1070ti is now on bottom and 1060 on top and the sound card is on the 1st slot of motherboard whiich is above the 1060 now its running cooler then before at 40% fans speed system and GPU both GPU are less then 60'c

well i am mining like 0.01Zec every day or in 20Hrs depends..
as i have already reduced the voltege and power
on GTX 1060 its 70% and GTX 1070ti 70% and sometimes i reduce it to 60%

Depends on the cost of power.
A properly configured 1060 and 1070ti would make over 800 sols mining zcash, this would equate to about $180 in coin a month with current prices and difficulty. Add in the average cost of power, and that's $150 ish profit per month. So, the cards would pay for themselves in about 5 months. I'd say that's worth it ;)

Yup I am getting 850+ ,860-880 Sols After decreasing the Voltages and Power
