PC shuts down by itself while playing graphics intensive games

Hi all, firstly sorry if this is not in the right category, but I am having problems when i play graphics intensive games. My PC usually shuts down after about 10 mins of game play. This is my specs:

gpu: Gtx 1080 ti turbo
Processor: i5-7600
PSU : seasonic gold 80
Ram: 32gb
OS: Win 10

when i play games like playerunknow and Destiny and games that takes a bit more then others my pc crash sometimes seconds into the game and some times it takes 10 15 even hour till it happen.. i took the pc to repair like 5 times and they said it didnt shut down even once for them i am so frusterated cus it never happen to me befor... they said they put it on max efford on the GPU and CPU and it didnt shut down...

and after it shut down it wont go up again for few min WHAT IS IT?! some 1 please help :(

And how is it connected to the GPU?

Power load needs to be balanced, any card from 225W and above needs both cables.

GTX 1080Ti is a 250W+ card

I actually spoke with Seasonic on this, I have a GTX 1080 FTW2 and they told me to use both cables on mine as it can draw more than 215W that's it's speced at.

Thank you, that did help, but the ultimate issue was the bridge cable thermaltake gives to allow you to mount the video card sideways in the P5 Core Case. It cant handle the card. I have mounted directly on the mobo and I have not crashed since.
