Hey everyone,
my PC gets small freezes when playing games. So far these freezes happened in WoW and Rocket League, either in menu or while actually playing. My cursor seems to freeze too when it happens, so I guess it's the entire PC, not just the game.
Just to clarify: My PC does not crash. When looking for solutions, I found only threads that refer to "freezes" but they all mean complete crashes.
The GPU driver is up-to-date and all other drivers as well.
My system:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 (AMD Ryzen Master is installed, but running at default speed)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080
PSU: EVGA 650BQ
RAM: 2x8 GB gskill tridentz DDR4 2400 (clocked to 2400mhz via BIOS)
Soundcard: Creative SoundBlaster Z (the one with red casing against interference)
SSDs: System is running on a 256GB SSD (its a rather old one)
OS: Win 10 64bit Professional
M2.SSD: 128 GB Toshiba (for games)
Mainboard: ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4
Case: Cooler Master MSI Edition (Midi Tower)
3 Case Fans for Airflow
I found this old thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2747262/random-freezes-gaming-lag.html#_=_
and downloaded the suggested tool called OCCT and let it run for some minutes.
Screenshots are uploaded in my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2btilhcddz9dtbz/OCCT_testrun_25-12-2017.rar?dl=0
I hope using dropbox is ok for this forum, if not, please let me know where else I should upload them.
I watched the tool run and I noticed the freeze happening between minute 1 and 2, because the clock in the tool didn't continue for like 15 seconds. When the freeze ended, the clock showed the appropriate time left (which means by my logic, it keeps running, but the screen just isn't able to show it?).
I know a few things about PCs, but this goes above my knowledge, so I'm putting my hope into you guys.
If you are up for it, feel free to add me on:

All help is appreciated, thanks already in advance!
Merry christmas and cheers,
Pascal
