I recently got a new 1080ti FTW3 by EVGA, and everything seems to be running fine until I try to run a game. Menus will load normally, but as soon as the actual game is running, the computer will shut off and reboot. No error messages are displayed, its like someone pulls the plug every time. It does this for every game I run.

I checked my temps, and they are fine, CPU never goes over 55-60C, and GPU stays around 30-33C.

I've reseated all of the power cables to the GPU, and there seems to be no issue there at all.

The issue only arose after I upgraded my GPU, my old one worked with no problems.
My full specs, if it helps:
Mobo: Asrock Extreme 7+
CPU: i7 6700k w/ Noctua DH-15 cooler
Ram: Corsair DDR4 2400 2 x 8gig
Boot Drive: M.2 960 evo
GPU: Previously Geforce 750ti, is now a 1080ti FTW3
PSU: XFX XTR 850w

Nothing is overclocked, it is all stock settings.

I checked Event Viewer, and under system, during times of random shutdowns and rebooting, there is an error called DistributedCom, with event id 10016. I don't know if this is related to the shutdown.
Under Application in event viewer, there is an error called .NET runtime, event ID 1026. Again, I don't know how related to my situation these error messages are, I'm just including them incase they help pinpoint the problem.

Thank you.

Edit* Minecraft works. It's the only game that does. My guess is because its not very intensive.

Solution
You went from a videocard that sips power even when gaming, to a card that demands a fair bit of power under load. If someone asked me to list the top 10 power supplies, XFX would not be on that list. So suspect number one for me is your power supply.

Minecraft is demanding, but on the CPU not the videocard.
