Best FM2+ CPU?

Hello, my PC has an AMD A6-7400k apu and I recently upgraded my graphics card from a Radeon R7 240 to a GTX 750 Ti, so my cpu basically only runs on 1 core because it doesn't work with my old graphics card anymore. I have decided that I need an upgrade and I don't know the best FM2+ cpu that I can buy for my build. Please suggest the best one that I need.

Without knowing your motherboard a recommendation can't be given as some may or may not be compatible with certain CPUs.

(Generally speaking an Athlon X4 880k would be 'the best'. Any APU would be wasted as you have a separate graphics card.)
