My PSU doesn't have spare PCI-E 6pin?

Hi,I've just bought the GTX 1050 TI 4GB by MSI and I see it has a 6 pin PCI-E port.

My PSU doesn't have a spare PCI-E 6 pin port, but it has a spare SATA port.

Will it work if I buy a SATA to PCI-E 6 pin port and then connect it to my graphics card?

Thank you for your reply.

I literally know nothing about the PSU, the only thing I know that it's a 300W PSU.
Since this is a prebuilt computer - ASUS M70AD I don't know anything about the PSI.
Thanks for your reply.

you will definitely need to buy a new power supply to accomodate your new card. the minimum recommended power for your new GPU is 300W. and your PSU is maxed at 300W. it cannot handle it hence the lack of 6pin PCIE power cord. you need at least a 600-650W PSU to accomodate your new hardware.

but looking at the specs of the M70AD. its very old. the motherboard doesnt support your graphics card. return it as soon as you can. and buy a new computer or build a new one from ground up. :)

Okay. I've already asked on this forum once and they said the GTX 1050 TI will work with this motherboard without problems.
They only said that I need to replace the PSU.
I'm just asking since now I've got the graphics card in my hands, My PSU doesn't have the spare PCI-E cable.

Yes, your current i7 based system will work.
But you need a new, good, PSU.
Not the piece of junk you linked earlier.

its an H81 board. and its got one gen1 PCIE slot x16. so in theory your 1050gtx will work on this board but how effective will it be idk. yes please do not cheap out on your PSU since you can reuse on a future upgrade.

Zalman 600W ZM600-GSII.
I can buy this one.
It's selling for about $45.
Do you think this one will have the spare ports + work with all my components?
Thank you for your answer.

That's garbage also, you really need to up your budget and get a quality PSU or you risk damaging all of your parts in your PC.

Saving a few bucks can cost you a lot of money.

SeaSonic - G 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

I think this would be the most affordable and at the same time pretty powerful. The only thing. Will it fit inside my case? Are the PSUs the same parameters? Thank you for your reply.
