Hello I'm new to the forum!
Tech experts I need this help from you in order to figure out what has happened to my PSU.
My PSU (a seasonic S12-2 520W) was working fine until day before yesterday. On that day morning when I tried to turn it on, nothing happened except flashing(blinking) mouse led.
My mouse started to blinking so I assumed my board recieves power and that it gives a signal.
Please note that my mobo was as Asrock B75M-GL updated to latest bios.
Then I took my psu to a friends pc and tested there. PSU worked without giving an error. So I assumed it was my mobo and purchased a reconditioned Asrock Z68 Extreme3 gen3 mobo.
Then I plugged in my PSU and again no power!
I tested my first mobo again with another PSU and it also works fine by making my PSU the suspect.
Then I took my PSU to local pc repair shops and they tested all psu rails and said PSU is fine. They also booted few other motherboards with my PSU. Unfortunately I couldn't find any Asrock mobos with them.
It seems like my PSU will no longer boot Asrock mobos or any anti surge like protection in these mobos reject my PSU.
Both my Asrock mobos are turning on with another chinese made lower quality 500w psu. I tested that.
My PSU is out of warranty and I'm expecting an idea from you. If I could repair this PSU it'll be a great help.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english!
