Hey,

I recently got a new graphics card to upgrade from my intel hd graphics. The problem that I'm
running into is that I can't seem to enable my pci-express slot in my bios because I can't find it. I've looked everywhere in the bios but they are nowhere to be seen. And yes I have a pci-express slot.
Any help would be appreciated:ange:

Thanks

PCIe slots are always enabled and cannot be disabled, so you won't find that sort of option available in any BIOS / UEFI.

The only option you might find would be which graphics device to use during boot, such as on-board, integrated, or add-in board, which can be useful if you have a need for non-standard behavior.

I have already tried to connect the monitor to my card but my monitor doesn't detect my card

I don't think that is the problem, I think my computer is set to IGP->PCI->PCIE but I want to change it to PCIE->PCI->IGP, but because mine is set to the first option it detects the integrated graphics first then goes no further, if I set it to the second option it will detect my PCIE slot then go no further and I need to do that in the bios but I can't find that option. The card is a gigabyte gtx 1050 so it does not need a 6 pin connector, it gets it's power through the PCIE slot.
