Hello! I'm fairly new with computers and I'm trying to learn. I have an old custom built PC that i wish to slowly, but surely upgrade with the following specs.

intel pentium G860
Nvidia geforce 9500 GT
4gb installed ram

my motherboard is ASRock B75M-DGS

I have a new PSU of 750w

I purchased a used 750 TI SC from a seller on ebay, who claimed the card was used in an office. The seller seemed trustworthy, lots of good feedback. The packaging was amazing, and card looks great and good condition! I install the card and when i power it on, my monitor doesn't pick up any signal. 15 seconds in, and my motherboard gives off 5 short, quick beeps. I read online the 5 short beeps on my motherboard mean it's a cpu error. However this problem only happens with the 750ti sc, when i pop my old 9500GT in, my PC works without a problem. I have tried removing the battery on my motherboard for 5 minutes, uninstalling old drivers and many things. Is it just a faulty card?

I appreciate any help i can get!
